So my day has been eventful!
I started off with a green smoothie! Even though it's a bit late, join in the green smoothie challenge here!
My smoothie:
- half frozen banana
- frozen mango
- two kiwis
- 1/2 cup 0% plain greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- as much spinach as I could cram into the blender afterwards
Forgot to snap a picture, but man oh man it was amazing! I love the greek yogurt and the spinach :)

I baked oatmeal raisin cookies (and I might have eaten half of them, shh)
One day I'll have a fancy DSLR.. sigh.
Then I went out for lunch and had a delicious seafood linguini with scallops, shrimp and salmon. It was so creamy and filling, I could only eat half! But when dessert came around, I was suddenly starving again. I ordered the carrot cake and it was HUGE! I gave half the slice to my friend and still couldn't finish it all :P I'm sitting here eating the rest. Yum yum, I love carrot cake with raisins! I think I will bake carrot cake next week. But I fear that I will demolish it all.
It was pretty cold out today but I sucked it up and ran a relaxing 5k. Then I switched it up and did interval training: 400m sprint, 400m jog X 4. Gotta warm up for track season!!
Time to hit the hay, going to make buttermilk pancakes for my family tomorrow! I'll let y'all know how that turns out :)
